"We have just returned from a weekend at Woodcock corner cottage, and the facebook photos do not do this cottage justice, it was beautiful, with amazing views, and tasteful decor. The estate was so peaceful like another world, two of my children have autism and I felt very content they were in a safe environment, they adored Sammy the donkey, Lola the puppy and all the baby lambs.

Miriam and David could not have been more accommodating or welcoming, they had tea coffee bread and some other necessary items waiting in the cottage, and even brought us a welcome gift. They were understanding of my children's difficulties and agreed a late checkout with us. Lord Brookeborough even came and introduced himself and was very down to earth and very welcoming.

This is a fabulous place so relaxing with beautiful walks, we had much needed family time. We cannot wait to return"

"What amazing stay we had at Whitehill cottage. Outstanding cottage so relaxing and everything you want in the cottage and a lot more. Was greeted by David who was so welcoming with us and had lots of information etc. Had the fire going on arrival. Never got the chance to meet Miriam but spoke by phone and text and was just as lovely. Very helpful with directions to the cottage and nothing was no trouble. Highly recommend x"

"I just wanted to say a big thankyou to Rachel and Rebecca for our stay at colebrook . It is a fantastic setting , and gave us a much needed break . We really enjoyed our home cooked meal , thanks Rebecca. a big thank you to Rachel for all your help and understanding, you could not have done more to make us feel very welcome . I would highly recommend a visit to the spa for a hot stone massage and a relax in the hot tub , we came home feeling rested and rejuvenated . We will definitely be back , Judith and Brendan"

"What a joy it was to stay in such a peaceful retreat, surrounded by natural beauty which was complimented perfectly inside the cottage with its country charm and shabby chic decor, loved the attention to detail with the tweed fabrics and warm lighting. Everything we needed and more, with a choice of a stunning egg bath or an ample sized shower, comfortable beds and views that are hard to beat. You really feel like you are in a little haven that I would happily stay in forever. Well done to everyone involved in such a well run business, great set up, thank you."

"We have stayed in Woodcock Corner Cottage for around 6 weeks in total and we adore it. The cottage is an unusual design, reminiscent of a medieval great hall with bedrooms leading off. But there is nothing old fashioned about the decor which is light, bright and timeless. The views across the estate towards distant hills make it hard to tear yourself away from watching the ever changing weather. Summer here is beautiful but winter is almost more so. This is the best time to escape and spend time reading, walking and curling up in front of the wood-burning stove. Time slows down and all those things you plan to do seem possible again... Give it a try, you won't regret it!!!"
